Drink Friday Thoughts
We have reached the end of another week. The Olympics are coming to end, I have a weekend without a lot of work, I hope and some hoops. I'll leave out the part of me, Jim and taxes that are set for Sunday.
So the week ends with another Dawgs road loss. Another heartbreaker where we had the lead down the stretch and failed to hold it. This time we forced or rather Vandy forced OT. The first of the year for the Dawgs. So Saturday, on a short turnaround, we face the nasty Gators. I'm hoping for a nice win, although they handled the dawgs pretty well in Gainesville.
Also the Diamond Dawgs have a fewgames this weekend as well. Since I'm not a baseball fan, I'll leave it to other to carry the flag for that sport. But I do wish the Dawgs well this season.
Back to basketball for a bit, watch out SEC, the Dawgs are 1-0 on neutral sites. And this team knows it can play with any team. That's got to be the biggest fear for the coaches in the SEC.
And is it Spring yet, getting tired of all this cold.
And I have been debating if I would share, but my father-in-law has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He has started treatment and seems to be handling it well, so keep him in your prayers.
