My Blog and A Users Take
Now that I have had the site up for a few weeks, I decided to explain what is going to happen here. In the first post, Moving to Squarespace, I touched on this, but not enough to really explain what is going on. So what will Alan's Assessments me about.
- Day in and day out experiences in life. It may be a post about a grocery store experience, a basketball or football game, it may just be a few lines about nothing.
- Reviews. I'm not a journalist, nor do I pretend to be one on TV, but I do use items and sometimes the reviews by journalist can be a bit lacking. So I want to give my take on some items. With this, I decided to create a series called "A Users Take" to handle my reviews.
- News. As I said before I'm not a journalist, but I do see news. It may not be breaking news, but it will be my take on the news. It could be politics, sports, local or national. Who knows.
- Frequency of the updates. Well this kind of depends on what is going on. I'm hoping squarespace releases their iPhone soon and this should help speed up the posts.
- Design. I'm not set on the layout yet, but I think I have it working well enough to let people see it. I already have some ideas about changing it, but that will have to wait.
- Ads. At this time, I do not have any ads. This may change in the future if I start to get a nice amount of traffic. Until this, it will remain ad free.
Well I hope you enjoy the site. If you do, please share it. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Of Note : I have 2 posts in draft. One on the iPhone3GS and one on Using Google Apps. Although as I write this, I'll be heading off to the races tonight, so a race post may come first.
